FTP Download Instructions for Dr.Backup Dr.Backup Private FTP Site - Access Information Overview - Dr.Backup operates a private FTP server on a high-speed Internet connection. The server is primarily used to download client files recovered by Dr.Backup technicians. Use of this recovery technique allows you to bypass the public backup service thereby more quickly recovering large volumes of data. Accessing Your Private FTP Site - The username and password of your private FTP site is usually the same as your Dr.Backup accountname and password. Configure your FTP package as follows: Host: restore.drbackup.net (IP address = 66.241.7.26) Port: 121 (our secure FTP port number) Username: Password: Summary: To retrieve all recovered data, use FTP client software to transfer the contents of the "download" folder from the FTP account identified above. The "download" folder contains a 7-Zip multi-part compressed archive of the restored data. DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY OTHER FOLDERS - JUST THE CONTENTS OF THE DOWNLOAD FOLDER! Once the download is complete, install the appropriate version of 7-zip (both 32 and 64-bit machine versions provided) and then right click on the .001 file from the download to extract the data.
