We want to inform you of an important update regarding Maryland’s tax regulations that may affect your service with us.

Effective July 1, 2025, the state of Maryland has implemented a 3% sales and use tax on certain data and information technology services, including software as a service (SaaS), data processing, and custom software publishing.

As a result, we are now required to collect this tax on your data protection services if your business operates in the State of Maryland.

Certain nonprofit organizations that provide us with a valid tax-exempt certificate may be eligible to have this tax waived.
