November 1, 2026

To Our Valued Clients and Partners,

Per the terms and conditions in our master service agreement, we are posting this notification regarding changes to our electronic payment options and credit card processing fees.

Beginning December 1, 2026, we’ll be transitioning to a new payment processing provider. This change will improve the reliability and security of our billing system while also providing additional payment options.

Most of this is invisible to you — but one thing changes, and we want you to hear it straight from us, with time to act.

What’s Changing?

Effective December 1, 2026, payments made by CREDIT CARD will be subject to a 3% Processing Fee, which will be added at the time of payment.

How to Avoid the Fee…

You can avoid the processing fee entirely by paying with:

– Debit Card
– ACH Bank Transfer

Payments made using either of these methods will not incur a processing fee, keeping your bill exactly the same as it is today.

What You Need to Do…

No action is required if:
– You currently pay using a Debit Card
– You have already set up ACH Bank Transfer payments with us

If you currently pay by Credit Card:
– Continue using your existing credit card, and the 3% processing fee will automatically apply
– Update your payment method before December 1, 2026 to avoid the fee

To make a change, call us at 301-560-4534. We’ll be happy to help.

We know fee changes are never welcome news, and we did not make this decision lightly. As a company entrusted with protecting your data, we continually invest in the systems and processes that keep our services reliable, secure, and sustainable. This update is part of that commitment.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and your continued trust in Dr. Backup.
