In this video resource, we demonstrate how to use a Win10PE Boot and Recovery Disk (BARD) to copy the contents of an image backup from a VHD/X (disk image file) onto an uninitialized disk drive.
Use of the techniques presented would be extremely helpful if the operating system in your PC or server would not boot — and you had to replace the drive.
You might also use the techniques presented to recover from a crypto-virus/ransomware infection by replacing encrypted partition(s) with the contents of a clean backup.
